2018 Annual Report

Wright County MU Extension Council has released its 2018 Annual Report and is available online.

Don’t guess, soil tests!  Soil testing saves time and money!

Soil testing is the best guide to the wise and efficient use of fertilizer and soil amendments. Whether you grow acres of row crops or have a vegetable patch in the backyard, a soil test will provide you with an analysis of nutrients and a set of recommendations for any improvements. Soil testing can be done through the extension office. When you soil test through our Local Extension Office, your report will also include recommendations from the Agronomist or Horticulturist that serves Wright County.  Soil tests cost $20 per sample. Make sure your soil is dry when you bring it in. A soil probe and an auger can be checked out from the extension office. Soil testing publications
