Gardening for
Fall and Winter Color

Learn plant selections for providing color in your fall and winter
landscape. Topics will include plants that produce late fall blooms,
colorful fall foliage and winter bark color, colorful fruit and berry
production and late winter blooms. Instructor: Chuck Baur, Master
Gardener.
Easy
Hydro-Gardening
Saturday, October 18
9:00 - Noon
Fee: $20
Learn the principles of hydro gardening. Grow vegetables, herbs and
flowers for your use year round. Learn the simple, low cost, and easy
care method of having a garden in a small area or on a window sill and
have the benefits of a garden without all the work. Instructors: Roger
and Margaret Harman, Master Gardeners.

Treating Garden Pests
Wednesday, November 19
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Fee: $15
Many types of insects can be found in our home landscapes and gardens.
Learn when chemical control is needed. Topics include alternative
approaches to control, reading pesticide labels, and safe pesticide
handling. Instructor: Scott Killpack, MU Extension Agronomist/Natural
Resource Specialist. |
