Patrick Byers, regional horticulture specialist with University of Missouri Extension, and Kelly McGowan, horticulture educator, coordinate horticulture programming in Greene County and 16 additional counties in the MU Extension southwest region.  Robert Balek, regional horticulture specialist with University of Missouri Extension in Jasper County, cooperates with programming in Greene County.

Missouri Tomato Conference, August 14-15, 2017

The 2017 Missouri Tomato Conference brought together farmers and national and regional tomato experts, resulting in a stimulating two days of presentations, discussion, and tours.  Presentations from the 2017 Missouri Tomato School are here.

Missouri Blueberry School

The 2017 Missouri Blueberry School was held March 17-18 in Springfield and the surrounding area.  The first day included educational sessions and the annual meeting of the Missouri Blueberry Council.  The second day of the school included visits to several blueberry farms.  Presentations from the 2017 Missouri Blueberry School are here.
