Elevate: Republic Afterschool Program

The Elevate Program offers fun, educational and interesting club activities (ranging from woodworking to leadership), snacks, and adult supervision in a secular setting. Salute to Century and Family Farms

Our 6th annual event at the Round Barn Event Center where we hear from future farmers (student speakers) and honor farms in Greene County that have been in the same family for over 100 years! This year we will honor several farms that have been in the family for over 180 years! The event is on Sept. 30. Get Tickets Online

Leadership Ash Grove!

Beginning in September, a leadership development program designed specifically for individuals that live or work inside the Ash Grove School District. You must enroll online. Thanks to a local grant, registration is free and class materials are provided. Informational Flyer (PDF) Enroll online

Mizzou Community and Leadership Network

Quarterly meetings are held at The Roost Bar and Grill, 4216 S. Cox Rd, Ste 112, Springfield, Mo. Network with Mizzou alumni and community leaders. Special noon luncheon open to anyone. Pre-register by calling (417) 881-8909 or email David Burton. Cost of $10 per person (to cover the cost of the meal) will be collected at the door. We encourage arrival at 11:45 to get your food ordered.

Art of Neighboring

American's have become more isolated. Part of the reason is that we have forgotten the art of neighboring. It takes effort. It takes purposeful planning. Neighboring will also take time. In over ten years of operation, one University of Missouri program has saved Missouri industries nearly $65 million or on the average of about $50,000 per year in energy costs. The Midwest Industrial Assessment Center (IAC), located in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Missouri, provides a free opportunity for an energy assessment or audit of companies. Our Office Goal and Vision

Greene County MU Extension will help county businesses create or save 5,000 jobs, individually educate 500,000 county residents on topics improving their families, farms, and nutrition, and train 1,500 new community leaders and volunteers by 2030.
