Agronomic programming centers primarily on pasture and hay management, crop production, pest management, pesticide training, soil fertility, soil conservation and general horticulture.

Extension career

  • Started in 1990 as a county extension agent specializing in agriculture, community development and 4-H in Stone County, Arkasas
  • Joined University of Missouri Extension in 1991
  • Nine years as an Agronomy Specialist and County Program Director in Mississippi County, Missouri. Served as Regional Corn Specialist for eight SE Missouri counties
  • Two years as Agronomy Specialist for Morgan, Moniteau, Benton and Pettis Counties
  • Served as Agriculture / Rural Development Specialist in Stone County 2002-2006
  • Currently serves as Agronomy Specialist in Stone County since November, 2006 with primary responsibilities in Stone, Taney, Barry, Lawrence, Greene and Christian Counties. Also serves Webster, Douglas and Ozark Counties on special assignment
  • Coordinator for the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks based in Stone and Taney Counties
