All 4-H and FFA members showing market and breeding animals must complete the ShowMe Quality Assurance certification process before being eligible to show at any local fairs or the Missouri State Fair.

Watch e-mails for upcoming meeting dates. Obedience, Rally Obedience, and Agility are just a few of the classes taught.



A copy or fax of the Horse Enrollment Form with horse description is due May 1 to the Cole County Extension office. You must attach either a photograph or registration papers.  A current negative-Coggins test is required to show.

Countywide project meetings held the first Sunday at 2pm and third Friday of the month at 7:30pm at the Cole County Extension Office. Focus will be on learning about the horse and the equine industry to help prepare for Horse Bowl, Hippology, and Horse Judging Contests.

Exploring 4-H Robotics is an ideal way to introduce science, math, engineering and technology while teaching life skills. Through hands-on activities, the 4-H Robotics projects teach basic concepts related to robotic subsystems such as structure, power, sensors, control and programming. these concepts are the foundation for building robots and robotic subsystems from a variety of materials and packaged kits. 4-H Robotics has projects for a wide variety of interests and available resources.

LabSpace Robotics Events

Youth required to bring Shooting Sports Project Record Log: & Health Form to each practice and signed by the certified instructor.

Must be led by our certified instructors: Archery, Air Rifle, Smallbore Rifle, Air Pistol, Shotgun, Smallbore Pistol, Muzzleloading, Hunting/Outdoor Skills.  (Western Heritage not offered in Cole County.)
