Safe Food Preservation (Session 2 of 3)

Description:

Learn to safely preserve fresh produce for tasty gifts for the holidays. Sessions cover preservation methods to use for highest quality and safety in home preserved foods. Participants will get hands on experience in safely processing home preserved food.

Session topic:

Participants will learn the principles of safely preparing and processing jams and jellies from fresh or frozen produce. They will get hands-on experience as they prepare homemade jam and process in a steam canner.
