Selling Local Foods - Post Harvest Handling, Food Safety and Labeling

Description:

Proper harvesting and storage procedures help ensure minimal waste and optimal prices when taking your products to market. But, there can be many other factors to consider such as packaging, labeling, and regulations that are designed to protect consumer safety. This session is designed to give attendees an overview of those important aspects they should consider in the process of getting their product from field to the consumer.

The total fee for all four courses of this Selling Local Foods series is $79.00. While taking the entire series is recommended and series enrollees will be given priority, Ala-carte admission may be available for single classes for $29.00 each.
