Stress Management The facts about stress, on average, 1 million employees are absent each day due to stress-related complaints. Job stress is estimated to cost U.S> industry $300 billion annually. Stress occurs when there is an imbalance in the demands of our lives and the resources we have to deal with those demands. What You Will Learn: • Degree of stress and Response to stress. • Effects of stress on our health • Awareness of common persistent distressors. • Methods for managing stressors • Identify strategies to managing response to stress.
