The quality of your pastures were greatly damage during ,as well as after, the drought of 2018. Weed competition due to overgrazing conditions, thin ground cover, and hoof damaged pastures will become a reality this summer if precautions are not taken to curtail this from happening. Now is the time to get a plan of action in place to control and improve what is going on out in your grazing system. This targeted program teaches producers how to improve forage production economic return while protecting our environment. The program inspires increased economic development and social viability in rural Missouri as it applies to our grazing operations.

Contact your local MU Extension offices for times and locations of the event. (Camden, Dallas, Hickory, Laclede, and Polk County MU Extension)
