A Course on Beginning Beekeepers (Session 2 of 4)

Description:

This is a four session course discussing the "First Lessons In Beekeeping" by Keiths Delaplane. There are 8 chapters in all and we will covering two chapters a night as well as answering any questions about bee keeping as they arise. Our instructors are Beekeepers. This is a program developed by the Pomme De Terre Beekeepers Association as we try to introduce patrons to the wonderful world of bees. First Night Activities Chapter 1: The place of honey bees in the world and Chapter 2: The honey Bees' world Second Night Activities Chapter 3: The bee hive and its accessories and Chapter 4: Getting Started Third Night Activities Chapter 5: Management for honey production and pollination and Chapter 6: Products of the bee hive Forth Night Activities Chapter 7: Off-season management and Chapter 8: Honey bee disorders, parasites, and nest invaders
