Description:
In this fun, hands-on class, you will work with a small group and a knowledgeable instructor to preserve food safely and effectively. You will take away some of the food you make during class as well as ideas and recipes for other delicious holiday-inspired foods that are perfect for gift-giving.
Topics covered include:
Making jams and other sweet spreads
Making pickles and relishes
Preserving food using boiling water canning method
Creative ideas for decorating jars and packaging

Pizza Party: An afternoon of making pizza in all of its forms

Helps divorced and separated parents learn how to support their children through the divorce process and how to work together in co-parenting their children. Focus on Kids satisfies the Missouri law that requires parents who are divorcing or filing a motion to modify the original divorce decree, or who have never been married but have filed a child custody case, to attend an educational parenting program.
