    4-H Club Officer Training (Session 2 of 2)

    Description:

    So you are an officer! Now what?!?!?
    This FREE event will help new and experienced club officers to better understand what their role is in their position. All youth will learn short "get aquainted" activities, learn the ins and outs of their officer position, meet other youths from Daviess, Harrison, Gentry, Grundy, Livingston and Mercer Counties and experience a fun way to conduct business in their club.

    Youths and club leaders should register online via the University of Missouri system of.

    Back pack Meals Service Project (Session 2 of 3)

    Carroll County 4-H Club Meetings (Session 2 of 2)

    Description:

    Monthly meetings are an important part of 4-H as they teach youth about parliamentary procedure/voting, about being part of a team/club, and about other opportunities throughout 4-H. These items include local club events, county activities, and opportunity for involvement at the state or regional level. Most meetings also incorporate a game or activity that allows youth to get to know each other, exercise, and enjoy some fun as they learn and develop individually and as a group.

    Presentation and workshop to the leadership of Ridgecrest Baptist Church about the value of neighboring and how this initiative can positively impact a community.

    Tobacco 21 Policy support in Carl Junction

    Description:

    Community needs assessments may identify a need that requires a policy, system or environmental (PSE) change to be made to impact the larger community rather than individual educational efforts. PSE strategies is a global term for a number of strategies that can be implemented all with the long term goal of improving the overall health of the community.

    This PSE effort was to provide evidence, need for, and support of a Tobacco 21 policy in Carl Junction city limits
