Meet the Chancellor tours

Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin is making a series of visits around the state to emphasize the university’s impact and connection to Missouri communities through MU Extension. Through these events, Loftin can connect with local extension staff, retirees, supporters and MU alumni on their home turf.

Chancellor Loftin visited the Southeast Region at the Cape Girardeau County Extension Center in June. After a luncheon, Loftin and Vice Provost Michael Ouart visited a few locally-owned businesses that benefit from MU Extension programs.

In August, Loftin, Ouart and Associate Vice Provost Bev Coberly attended a luncheon in Nevada, Mo., as well as several other tours and events in the West Central Region.

More events throughout the state will be scheduled as MU Extension continues to help connect the university to our communities.
