·        4-H Youth Program Assistant of the Year – 2017

·        Wrote GRACES grant that sent four Scott County youth to summer camp who otherwise couldn’t afford to go

·        Wrote and received United Way grant totaling $22,000.00 over three years for starting and developing a Jr. Leaders Program in Scott County

o   The money from this grant has sent youth to Teen Conference, Teen Congress, Citizenship Washington Tour, the Equine Tour and coming up National Congress and National Conference

·        Received a HEED Grant to buy sewing machines and supplies for a sewing class in Scott County

·        Revamped Cape Girardeau County’s Annual Report

·        Head of several committees within Cape Girardeau County 4-H

·        Presenter at the Annual Multi- County Women’s Health Conference (organized by Dr. Maude Harris) and helped revamp the program book

·        Contribute to several committees within Missouri State 4-H

·        Led several fundraising campaigns – most recently Barn Quilt Paint Nights that have raised several thousands of dollars for Scott County, Cape Girardeau County and Cape Girardeau County Shooting Sports

·        Organizer/manager of the Cape Girardeau County 4-H Food Stand for the SEMO District Fair

·        Organizer of the area Quad Shoot

·        Created several flyers and publications to be used in the 4-H program and shared across the state.

·        Trained in “Tackling the Tough Skills for Teens”

 

Introduced several new ideas to the 4-H program in both Scott and Cape Girardeau counties

§  Taking three youth to MO State Fair for Show-Me-Wares

§  Display projects in a business window uptown during Homecomers to promote 4-H

§  In the process of creating a committee for National 4-H week to promote 4-H in the area

§  Attended a class at R&P Lumber on chalk painting and have inquired about doing the same with 4-H
